Arkansas Highway 23

The Arkansas State Route 23 (abbreviated AR 23) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Arkansas, which runs in a north -south direction.

The State Route begins on U.S. Highway 71 near Ash Grove and ends north of Eureka Springs on the border of the neighboring state of Missouri. Between the Arkansas State Route 16 at Brashears and Interstate 40 north of Ozark AR 23 runs through the Ozark National Forest. This section is excellent as Pig Trail Scenic Byway. In the south of Ozark State Route crosses the Arkansas River.
