Armando Lambruschini

Armando Lambruschini (* June 15, 1924; † 15 August 2004) was an Argentine admiral and member of the Argentine military junta, which called her reign as the process of the National Reorganization. He joined in 1978 instead of Emilio Massera in the second junta Roberto Viola, which ruled the country until 1981.

1985 who was convicted in the course of trials of former members of the military junta for illegal detention and torture in 35 cases, in 10 cases to 8 years in prison. Like other convicts of the processes he was pardoned by a general amnesty, which was adopted in 1990 by the President Carlos Menem. 1997, an Italian court convicted him in absentia for crimes against Italian citizens. In 2003, he was indicted on charges of crimes against humanity once again, but found only under house arrest because of his advanced age and not taken in prison. 2003 invited the Spanish judge Baltasar Garzón for his extradition for crimes against Spanish citizens.
