Armas Rudolf Taipale ( born July 27, 1890 in Helsinki, † November 9, 1976 in Turku ) was a Finnish discus thrower. His greatest achievement was winning the gold medals in one - and two-handed discus throw at the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912.

Taipale participated in the Summer Olympics in 1912, 1920 and 1924. He could after his double success in 1912 on the following games in 1920 once again secure silver in the discus throw.
