Armond Fields

Armond Fields ( born November 22, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois; † August 17, 2008 in Culver City, California ) was an American painter, graphic artist and biographer.

Life

Armond Fields grew up in Milwaukee, Michigan, where he received his high school graduation. He then studied at the University of Wisconsin -Madison and the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, after which he earned his doctorate at the University of Chicago. He then worked for several years in advertising and market research. In 1969 he started his own business as a market researcher and worked for several companies and organizations.

In parallel, drew, painted and designed several graphics Fields. From the mid- 1980s he wrote several Vaudeville Stars biographies, among others about the actress Maude Adams and the poet George Auriol.

On August 17, 2008 Fields died of the consequences of his metastatic colon cancer.
