Armor for Sleep

Armor for Sleep was founded in 2001, alternative rock band from Maplewood and Teaneck, New Jersey. In October 2009, they announced the dissolution of the band.

Band History

After singer and guitarist Ben had separated from his old band Random Task, in which he played the drums, he took in a local studio for $ 100 a demo tape on, on which he recorded all the instruments himself. Because of this, he and Anthony ( ex- bassist of the band Random Task ), Nash and his cousin PJ Armor for Sleep, after they had left their band Prevent Falls. The band got a record deal with Equal Vision Records, where they released their first two albums. In April 2006, she got a major contract with Sire Records ( Warner Bros. ). In December 2006, the band went back into the studio to record a third and final album, released under the title Smile for Them 2007. On 28 October 2009 an official statement from frontman Ben Jorgensen, which confirmed that the band will go their separate ways in the future after a long inactivity appeared.
