Arpat Avanesyan

Arpat Avanesjan (Armenian Արպատ Ավանեսյան, Russian Арпат Санджанович Аванесян; born June 2, 1944 in Tschartar, Martuni Province) is an Armenian politician of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh.

Life

In 1960 Avanesjan finished his schooling in the village Tschartar. In 1966 he graduated from the Department of Radio Physics and Electronics of the Faculty of Physics at Yerevan State University.

From 1965 to 1968 he worked as a research assistant, as chief engineer at the Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics of the National Academy of Sciences. In 1968 he was an assistant at the department of nuclear physics at the State Institute of Architecture and Construction Yerevan.

After the completion of the Postgraduate he acquired in 1981 the degree " Candidate of Technical Sciences" and in 1983 the degree of lecturers.

In 1990, he was determined to be the director of the polytechnic department in the branch of the State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Stepanakert.

In 1991 he was rector of the branch of the State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Stepanakert and a year later he became the first rector of the Karabakh Mountain State University ( later Artsakh State University ).

Since July 1994 he was a lecturer of the Department of Physics at Artsakh State University and since October 2004 as Head of Department. He is an academic and a full member of the Armenian Academy for Educational and Psychological Sciences and honorary doctor numerous universities.

Policy

In the elections to the fourth National Assembly on 19 June 2005 he was by proportional representation through electoral list of the party «Free home » (Armenian: asat hajreniq ) elected as an MP.

He was Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly for social issues.

In the elections to the fifth National Assembly on 23 May 2010, he was elected by majority system in constituency 13 as a deputy. On 10 June 2010 he was elected finance and economic issues during the first session of the National Chairman of the Standing Committee on Budgets.

Arpat Avanesjan is a member of the founder of the party, " free home" and 29 January 2005, he is also co-chairman of the party since 19 April, he is a member of the Bureau.

He is a member of the faction " Hajreniq ". Arpat Avanesjan is president of the National Chess Federation of the NKR. He is the author of more than 23 books and Büchleinen, author of scientific and methodological articles and has a copyright.

Arpat Avanesjan is awarded the St. Mesrop Mashtots Order Movses Chorenatzi and medals.

Arpat Avanesjan is married and has three children.
