Ashley Crow

Ashley Diane Crow ( born August 25, 1960 in Birmingham, Alabama ) is an American actress, known for her role in the series Heroes.

Life and career

Ashley Crow attended the University of Alabama in 1982, and then studied at Auburn University. She is a sister of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority college at Auburn University. Crow first appeared in a small role in U.S. soap opera Guiding Light in the 1980s, followed by a longer role as Beatrice McKechnie in Young and Passionate - As life goes. Later, she starred opposite Parker Stevenson co-star in the short-lived science fiction series sample. Since then, she has guest starred in several television series, including Dark Angel, Everybody Loves Raymond, Touched by an Angel, Party of Five and The Mentalist. She also had Mrs. Bennet as a recurring role in the series Heroes, in which she played the wife of Noah Bennet ( Jack Coleman ). Among other things, she played a role in movies like Minority Report, Little Big Boss and The Good Son.

Crows first husband was actor Bill Shanks, who was also an actor in As The World Turns. They divorced in 1993. Crow is now married to the Heroes actor Matthew John Armstrong, who played the role of Ted Sprague. From September 2011 until May, she played a lead role as Jane Blake, Cassie's grandmother, in the television series The Secret Circle. She has a son.
