Ashley Madekwe

Ashley Madekwe (December 6, 1981 in London) is a British actress. Notoriety she gained for her role as Ashley Davenport on the television series Revenge, which she played from 2011 to 2013.

Life and career

Ashley Madekwe was born in London as the daughter of a Nigerian father and an English mother. She closed the BRIT School from an A -level Drama and BTec. She also completed a one-year basic training at LAMDA. In addition, she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts.

Her acting career began with the film Madekwe Storm Damage. Since this film, she had guest appearances in the television series Drop Dead Gorgeous and Doctors. From 2008 to 2010 she was in 14 episodes of the series Secret Diary of a Call Girl guest, in her husband embodied one of the main roles. Awareness in the United States she gained through appearances in The Beautiful Life. She appeared since September 2011 in 44 episodes of the TV series Revenge. In June 2012, Madekwe married to fellow actor Iddo Goldberg after five years of relationship on a British country estate.
