Aslanbek Bulatsev

Aslanbek Soltanowitsch Bulazew (Russian Асланбек Солтанович Булацев; * 1963 North Ossetian ASSR in, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union) is a Russian- Ossetian politicians; of 22 October 2008 to 3 August 2009, he was Prime Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia, previously he worked for the Russian federal tax authorities in North Ossetia, most recently as their boss.

Bulazew successfully completed a degree majoring in Accounting from the Finance Academy of North Ossetia, before he worked for the 1986-2006 nordossetische tax investigation. 2006-2008 he was President of the Russian Federal Tax Authority for North Ossetia, before he was elected in October 2008 by the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia as successor to the retiring in August 2008 Yuri Morozov as prime minister. In August 2009 Bulazew was surprisingly dismissed " for health reasons " of President Eduard Kokoity. At the same time a comprehensive reshuffle was announced. Observers see the continuing discontent of impoverished South Ossetian population as the true reason for the dismissal Bulazews.
