Association of Vôge Valley communes
The Communauté de communes du Val de Voge is a municipal merger ( Communauté de communes ) of twelve municipalities in the south of the department of Vosges in Lorraine.
The Local Government Association has 4,921 inhabitants (2006) to 209.96 km ², which is / corresponds to a population density of 23 inhabitants km ².
Seat of the Association is the community Bains- les- Bains. The member municipalities are located in the catchment area of the upper Coney in the Voge. President of the Association of Local Authorities is Michel Fournier, who officiated as mayor of Les Voivres.
The Local Government Association from its original eleven municipalities of the Canton of Bains- les- Bains was founded on 8 December 2006 in order to concentrate the material resources of the community and to coordinate economic development. On 1 January 2009 the municipalities of La Chapelle- aux- Bois and Le Clerjus concluded from the Canton Xertigny to the Local Government Association. On 1 January 2013, the municipality of Le Magny was incorporated to Fontenoy -le- Château.
To the field of the local association includes regional planning as well as the cross-community business and tourism development. The Communauté de communes du Val du Voge has also set a goal to work closely together in the areas of environmental protection, culture and quality of living.
