Asteria (Band)

Asteria is an American five-piece pop-punk band from Crown Point, Indiana.

History

Asteria was founded in 2004 and acquired by constant tours soon have a reputation within the scene. 2005 Hawthorne Heights JT Woodruff member was aware of the band and took them to his label, Carbon Copy Media under contract. However, while they were working on their debut album in New York, they separated from the contract due to internal problems of the label. They signed a contract with Broken English Records and released in February 2007, their album Slip Into Something More Comfortable. She then toured with bands like Amber Pacific, Hit the Lights, All Time Low and the Canadians by Silverstein by the United States.

Music

Asteria play in their songs pop-punk, which is combined with emo and indie elements. They belong to a new set of pop-punk bands that are close to the Indie Rock Emo, such as The Academy Is ..., Paramore, or All Time Low.
