Reviews

" Right entertaining animated film, albeit without particularly good animation and the wit of the original. "

" Entertainment for fans, perfectly drawn and served funny."

"By this, that the Coliseum is a ruin in Rome, no one else making debt as the good-natured Obelix who accidentally came to the classic times of antiquity against a pillar so that the amphitheater collapsed. Even otherwise, Rene Goscinny and Albert Uderzo's Cartoons (1985 ) is not exactly squeamish about the Eternal City and the Romans. However, critics complained about blurred movements of the characters and dull color compositions. "

The film was awarded the Golden Screen 1987 for the achievement of three million moviegoers within 18 months.
