Aubergenville

Aubergenville is a commune with 11,867 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Yvelines department in the Île- de -France, situated on the River Seine, 41 km west of Paris and 13 km east of Mantes- la- Jolie. It is the capital of the canton Aubergenville.

The inhabitants are called Aubergenvillois and Aubergenvilloises.

Geography

Aubergenville extends south of the Seine. The surrounding communities are Flins -sur -Seine on the east, and Épône Nezel in the west and Aulnay -sur- Mauldre and Bazemont in the south. In the north the municipality Juziers is.

History
