Aubrey Singer

Aubrey Singer ( born January 21, 1927 in Bradford, Yorkshire, † 26 May 2007 London ) was a British television producer.

Life

Singer left to complete as a film editor with 17 years of school at a lesson. To this end, he spent several years with the production of films in Africa and later in Austria. In 1949 he started at the BBC, was 1953-56 in New York and produced in the late 1950s, some science series, which led to the establishment de BBC Science and Features, such as Tomorrow 's World and Horizon. From 1974 to 1978 he directed the BBC Two, where the live broadcast Our World was broadcast in June 1967. 2006, the TV comedy The Buck Calder Experience has turned to his concept.
