The Auburn Township is one of 20 townships in Fayette County in the northeast of the U.S. state of Iowa.

Geography

The Auburn Township is located in northeastern Iowa, and is drained by the Turkey River. The border with Minnesota is approximately 60 km north, which is the Wisconsin border forming Mississippi about 80 km to the east.

The Auburn Township is located at 43 ° 02'34 " north latitude and 91 ° 53'46 " west longitude and extending over 95.12 km ².

The Auburn Township is bordered to the north by the Winneshiek County. Within the Fayette County borders the Auburn Township on the east by the Dover Township, to the southeast by the Union Township, on the south by Windsor Township, to the southwest by the Bethel Township and on the west by the Eden Township.

Traffic

In the census of 2010, the Township had 527 inhabitants.
