August Schellenberg

August Schellenberg ( born July 25, 1936 in Montreal, Canada, † August 15, 2013 in Dallas, Texas) was a Canadian actor.

Life

August Schellenberg was born in 1936 as the son of an English- mohawkschen woman and a Swiss father. In Montreal Schellenberg lived until 1967, then to 1995 in Toronto. He was married to Joan Karasevich and was the father of three daughters.

Schellenberg played in several feature films and plays. Its probably best known film Free Willy (1-3), where he played Randolph on the side of Jason James Richter. Overall, he was seen in 1970 in more than 90 film and television productions.

In 1986, he won a Gemini Award for The Prodigal and 1991 Genie Award for the role of Chomina in Black Robe - By the river of the Iroquois.

Schellenberg died of cancer.
