Auletta (Band)
Auletta is an indie rock band from Mainz. The band took its name from the town Auletta in Italy, which they crossed in the summer of 2006 at a joint holiday.
Band History
The band was founded in 2005. However, only after the return of Alexander Zwick and Martin Kloos from abroad in England or Spain a serious work began as a band. In 2007, she appeared with, among others, Art Brut and Kilian. In the competition Emergenza they reached 2007, the Central Europe final. That same year she also won the competition Rockbuster. The end of 2008 they signed a recording contract with EMI. Then her first album Pöbelei & appeared on 26 June 2009 poetry. The song included on My city is included in FIFA 10.
On 1 October 2010, the band represented the state of Rhineland- Palatinate to the Federal Vision Song Contest, finishing in 14th out of 16 places. 12 August 2011 appeared Make Love Work, the second album of the band, and reached the 36th place in the Top 50 of the German album charts.
