The Autostrada A30 (Italian for, highway A30 ') is an Italian highway leading in the Campania region of Caserta Salerno. It has six lanes and 55 km long. Operated and administered it is by the Italian company Autostrade per l' Italia, so it is a toll road in its entire course.

History

This short freeway was built to congestion on the parallel and insufficient ( also because of the terrain ) developed motorway A3 Naples - Salerno to relieve and to create a powerful alternative. For traffic it was released in May 1976. Today, the highway ends in the hinterland of Salerno, originally was scheduled to Fratte continue to build the highway and to bind them directly to the A3 in the direction of Reggio Calabria. However, the ANAS the concession for the last 15 km is not granted.

Course

The A30 starts just north of the city of Naples at a junction with the A1 Milan - Naples. In the near Nola it intersects the A16 Napoli - Canosa and results in their further course passing through the villages at the foot of Vesuvius down into the valley of the Sarno. The end of the motorway is located east of Salerno, where the motorway in the RA2 Avellino - merges Salerno. About this path is also the A3 Reggio C. can be achieved.
