Aviv Geffen

Aviv Geffen (Hebrew אביב גפן ;) ( born May 10, 1973 in Ramat Gan ) is an Israeli pop musicians.

Life

Geffen is the son of Israeli poet Jonathan Geffen and a maternal great-nephew of the former Israeli general and minister Moshe Dayan. He is involved in a real peace between Israel and the Palestinian territories. Geffen is often referred to as a conscientious objector, but was actually released for medical reasons from military service. He is an avowed atheist.

For many young people in Israel Geffen has been since the early 1990s to the idol. In his lyrics Geffen also addressed issues of violence, drugs and alcohol.
