Ayla (producer)
Ingo Kunzi ( born November 7, 1966) is a German trance DJ and producer from Baden- Württemberg, which is primarily known by his pen name Ayla or DJ Tandu.
Biography
At the beginning of his DJ career Ingo Kunzi used the pseudonym DJ Tandu. In 1994 he published his first production " Acido EP". In 1995, the project was Ayla. His eponymous debut single, especially the divers remix, became a worldwide success. In the UK singles chart, the single reached number 22 It was also used by Mc Donalds for a television advertising and as a soundtrack for the film Kevin & Perry.
Appeared in 1998, the single " Ayla (Part II) ", which he produced together with divers and Torsten Stenzel. The single reached the number 56 in the German charts. Other successful productions were a remake of Cosmic babies " love " and " Angel Falls ". In 1999, his debut album, Nirvana, which reached gold status in Norway and Singapore appeared. Most recently, he produced in 2002 with " Sun Is Coming Out" a song under the pseudonym Ayla. Since then he had taken a break for the project.
