Darren Tate

Darren Isaac Tate ( born October 22, 1972 in London ) is a British trance DJ and producer. He is also known under the pseudonyms Jurgen Vries and DT8 Project and for its association with Judge Jules as Angelic.

Biography

Darren Tate began his musical career with a partnership with Judge Jules and his wife Amanda O'Riordan. In June 2000 they released the single as Angelic " It's My Turn ". The single spent 10 weeks on the UK singles charts and reached the high ranking position 11 The consequence productions "Can not Keep Me Silent " and "Stay With Me" reached in 2001 again the UK singles chart with position 12 and 36 in between Tate published his first own production " Eternity" under the pseudonym of Orion and got away with it on 38th

From 2002 he used the pseudonyms Jurgen Vries and new DT8 (and later DT8 Project) and had further chart success with them. His most successful single was " The Opera Song", which he published in February 2003 together with singer Charlotte Church, which is referred to on the cover with CMC. The single reached the 3rd place in the UK singles charts.

His first solo album was Horizons 01, which he published in 2006 under his name. Followed in 2007 by the album Perfect World, which he published under the pseudonym of DT8 Project. In 2008, Tate produced for Kate Ryan a cover version of " I Surrender ".

Tate has its own label called Mondo Records, which he founded in 2000.
