The Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic (abbreviation AsSSR; Azerbaijani Азәрбайҹан Совет Сосиалист Республикасы / Azərbaycan Sovet Sosialist Respublikası; Russian Азербайджанская Советская Социалистическая Республика ) was from 1922 to 1991 a union republic of the Soviet Union.

Development

She was a part of the Transcaucasian SFSR to 5 to their resolution of December 1936. On the territory of the Autonomous SSR AsSSR were Nakhichevan and Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region. The SSR of Azerbaijan was awarded by a total of five medals, including three Order of Lenin.
