Ba is a town in Fiji on the island of Viti Levu. It is the capital of the province of Ba, the most populous and second largest in terms of area of the fourteen provinces of Fiji.

The town is 37 kilometers from Lautoka and 62 kilometers from Nadi. It has an area of ​​approximately 327 square kilometers. It was built at the mouth of the River Ba, from which it takes its name. In 2007, the city had 18,526 inhabitants. For a long time Ba was famous for its single lane bridge and the resulting traffic problems. This old bridge was destroyed by the floods in the 1990s. Following the accident was a ring road, the King's Road, built. Meanwhile, a bridge was rebuilt, this time as a two-lane bridge.

Ba is an agricultural center, which is predominantly inhabited by Indo- Fijians. The city is an attraction for tourists. Sugar cane has long been the backbone of the local economy, but in the last fifteen years, many sugar mills were shut down. Ba 1939 was registered as a city and is governed by a 15-member city council, which elects the mayor from among its members. In the last local elections in 2002, were occupied by the " National Federation Party" 14 of the 15 seats. Another seat went to an independent candidate. The current mayor is Praveen Bala.

In the city there is the Govind Park, a sports stadium.
