Baglung

Baglung is a city in central Nepal and administrative headquarters of Baglung District in the Dhaulagiri Zone, 72 km to the west of Pokhara ( air line 37 km). The city is located on a terrace about 200 m above the Kali Gandaki and on the road from Pokhara to Jomsom. Baglung is the starting point for hikes in the area of Dhaulagiri and upstream through the gorge of the Kali Gandaki to Mustang and a pilgrimage site Muktinath.
