Bailey Olter

Olter Bailey ( born March 27, 1932 in Mwoakilloa, Pohnpei, † 16 February 1999 ) was a politician of the Federated States of Micronesia.

From 1983 to 1987 he was vice president of his country, and then in 1991 president. In July 1996, he suffered a stroke, so that he could no longer perform his duties. The Vice-President and later successor Jacob Nena led instead continued into office.
