Baixo Guandu on the map of Espírito Santo

Baixo Guandu is located on the western border of the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo city. It was founded in 1935 and in 2010 had almost 30,000 inhabitants.

It lies in the micro-region Cola Tina and mesoregion Noroeste Espírito - santense and borders the municipalities Pancas, cola Tina, Laranja da Terra and Espírito Santo and in Itaguaçu Aimorés, Itueta and Resplendor in the state of Minas Gerais.

North of the city flows the Rio Doce, which also forms the border with the neighboring state of Minas Gerais here.
