Baker Gurvitz Army was an English hard rock band that existed from 1974 to 1976.
Band History
The brothers Adrian (guitar) and Paul Gurvitz ( bass) joined together in 1974 after the end of their band Three Man Army with the ex - Cream drummer Ginger Baker Gurvitz Army to Baker. The power trio was later temporarily extended with the singer Snips (Steve Parsons ) and keyboardist Peter Lemer.
Your self-titled debut album was released in 1974 and increased in both the UK and in the United States in the charts. However, the two following albums were the beginning of success does not happen again, and the band broke up in 1976 again.
The group was known as a great live band. More than a quarter of a century after its end appeared alongside reissues of their studio albums, several live recordings and compilations.
