Balbeggie

Balbeggie is a village in the Scottish Unitary Authority Perth and Kinross and traditional Scottish county of Perthshire. It is about seven kilometers north east of Perth and 21 km west of Dundee located. In 1991 Balbeggie recorded 782 inhabitants, with a significant increase in population means. So lived in 1971 and 1961 only 325 and 284 people there.

End of the 19th century, a Presbyterian church and a school for 120 pupils in Balbeggie were. The latter was visited in 1879 an average of 68 students. Today Balbeggie is connected via the A94, which runs from Perth to Forfar to the road network. The nearest towns are Scone along the road in the southwest and Coupar Angus in the north east. Approximately 700 m to the southwest lies the Perth Airport.
