Baldwin II, Count of Boulogne

Baldwin II ( Baudouin larger needles, franz: Baudouin, † probably 1033 ) was a Count of Boulogne. He was probably a son of Count Arnulf II of Boulogne ( † after 972).

Baldwin enters 988 in the deed of gift as a witness, in which the Count Baldwin IV of Flanders Avelgem the location of the St. Peter's Abbey in Ghent ceded. The case also occurring as a witness Count Arnulf of Ternois could have been his brother.

For the year 1033 recorded the Chronicle of the Abbey of Saint -Riquier, the a count of Boulogne killed her Enguerrand advocate in the fight, then married his widow, and it even took the title of Count. The slain Count of Boulogne was probably Baldwin II, his widow was thus been Adelvie of West Friesland from a clan of Gerulfinger.

The nearest known by name was Count of Boulogne Eustace I, whose family relationship with the Count of Flanders home is unclear.
