The Baltoro Kangri is a 7300 m high mountain in the Karakoram in the autonomous region of Gilgit -Baltistan in Pakistan. It is located south and east of the Gasherbrum Chogolisa ( 7668 m) and belongs to the latter Masherbrum Mountains. The Upper Baltoro Glacier originates on the western edge of the Baltoro Kangri. North and east of the mountain, between Baltoro Kangri and the Gasherbrum, is the Abruzzi Glacier, which opens shortly thereafter in the upper Baltoro glacier. The Baltoro Kangri is over a ridge with the Sia Kangri in the East - and thus with the Karakoram main chain - connected, is on the lowest point of the Conway Saddle ( 6044 m). Between Baltoro Kangri and Chogolisa in the southwest is the 6180 m high Kondus saddle.

From the Place de la Concorde from the Baltoro Kangri dominates the upper Baltoro glacier, so he was formerly the name Golden Throne, which goes back to William Martin Conway.
