Bana Department

Bana is both a municipality (French commune Rurale ) and a comprehensive department of the same territory in the West African nation of Burkina Faso, in the region of Boucle du Mouhoun and the province balé. In 2006 the municipality had 13,000 residents in nine villages in the majority Marka Dafing. The village was founded by Moole Konaté.
