Bañado de Ovanta

Bañado de Ovanta is the capital of the department of Santa Rosa in the province of Catamarca in northwestern Argentina. It is located on the Ruta Nacional 64 and is a municipality of the second category in the Klassifierung the province communities.

History

The town was founded in 1981 by provincial decree.
