Bear Burgers Schnurre is a German children's film DEFA by Ralf Kirsten from the year 1957.

Action

In the small town of Bear Castle, the children want their own swimming pool with a diving board - the Saale- shore would become a lido own, however, is littered with rubble and other rubbish. The Mayor appeases, plan the town hall but to build a large swimming pool itself. Since money and workers absent for implementation, the plans are postponed again and again.

The twelve- year-old Hansel takes matters into his own hands, therefore he organized a petition with friends, the volunteers gathered for the cleanup. Production

Bear Burgers Schnurre was the first film by director Ralf Kirsten. It was during his studies at FAMU in Prague and was recognized as Kirsten's thesis. The film saw its premiere on February 10, 1957. Theatrical release was on February 15, 1957.

Bear Burgers Schnurre also ran under the Alternative title Hans Eulenspiegel.

Criticism
