Barry Manilow

Barry Manilow ( born June 17, 1943 in Brooklyn, born Barry Alan Pincus ) is an American singer.

Life

Manilow was born Barry Alan Pincus in Brooklyn as. When he was two years old, his father left the family and he took the mother's maiden name Edna. He learned to play the piano and was the pianist and arranger for Bette Midler. Together they had their first success with stage shows in night clubs in New York. He produced in 1972 the first album by Bette Midler.
