Bart Claessen

Barthezz ( born January 22, 1980 in Asten ( Netherlands), Bart Claessen actually ) is a Dutch DJ. He became famous with the trance tracks On The Move and Infected. He also published other titles under the pseudonym stereo shaker.

Work

First own demo tapes took Claessen 1998 in his own recording studio in which he had set up in his bedroom. As a student at the Art Academy of Utrecht ( HKU ), he participated in a Vengaboys remix competition in the summer of 2000. His remix of Cheekah Bow Bow was chosen by the fans of the band as the winner of the contest. As a result, some well-known DJs, including DJ Jean and Judge Jules, attentive to the circulating as a demo version recording his first track On The Move and took them into their playlist. End of January 2001, the track then appeared as an EP, reaching number 1 in the Netherlands various dance charts. After the single in the German-speaking countries was a hit to Claessens record company decided for a worldwide release of the single. End of 2001, the follow-up single Infected came on the market and early 2002 Claessen was in two categories ( Best National Dance Act, Best National Video) for the Music Prize of the Dutch music channel TMF nominated.
