Barut

Love grove, Polish Barut [' barut ] is a village in Upper Silesia in the municipality of heaven joke ( Jemielnica ) in the powiat Strzelecki in the Opole Voivodeship.

History

In the former forest owned by the monastery sky wit, which had taken over in 1810, the Prussian state in the course of secularization, was founded in 1832 by the royal Forstinspektor Liebeneiner the colony Love grove. According to him, the place got its name, which was first mentioned as Libenhein. The colony was originally 20 residential places. The place had 1840 121 inhabitants and 1855 227 inhabitants. In 1865 the town had 11 more new housing sites.

On August 17, 1893, the colony was raised to the community. 1933 lived in love grove 606 inhabitants and 1939, 688 inhabitants. The majority Catholic residents were and are the parish by heaven joke.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 voted 15 voters to remain in Germany and 251 for Poland. Nevertheless, love grove remained with the German Reich.

In 1945, it was under Polish administration and renamed Barut. The original Polish name was Wanut. In 1950, the City of Opole Voivodeship and 1999 re-established the powiat Strzelecki was assigned. In November 2008, the site received the additional German names love grove. In the village there is a small chapel of the Holy Trinity.
