Bayombong

Bayombong is a town in the Philippine province of Nueva Vizcaya. Bayombong is also the seat of the provincial government and thus the capital of Nueva Vizcaya. Bayombong is the seat of the Diocese of Bayombong.

The most important educational institution, the Saint Mary's University, founded in the wake of a government development program for the modernization of the Magat Valley in 1968, and the Nueva Vizcaya State University. In Barangay Magsaysay of Bangan Hill National Park is located. Among the main attractions of Bayombong the Capitol Park is one who is called in reference to the Rizal Park in Manila, also Luneta of the North. He is about eight acres in size, has used a large lagoon, and several other facilities which the relaxation. The Rizal Shrine is located in Barangay Casat, he was established in honor of Dr. Jose Rizal and is regarded as an architectural showpiece of the region. The St. Dominic Cathedral, Bayombong the Children's Park and the People's Museum and Library are located in the center of the community.
