Bednáreček

Bednáreček ( German Klein Bern resin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic with 192 inhabitants. It is located 13 kilometers north-east of Jindřichův Hradec and belongs to Okres Jindřichův Hradec.

Geography

Bednárec is on the left in the valley of Žirovnice in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. To the east of the 612 m high rises Hrůzův Kopec and vrch in the southeastern Tůmův. Through the village the railway lines Veseli nad lead Lužnicí - Jihlava and Jarošov nad Nežárkou - Batelov.

Neighboring towns are Zdešov and Vlčetín in the north, Popelín in the east, Česká Olešná the southeast, Nová Olešná in the south, Bednárec in the southwest and Kamenný Malíkov in the West,

History

Bednáreček was founded in the wake of the German colonization of the area in the 14th century. Was first documented the village 1499th Its inhabitants were Vaudois and later found the ideals of the Bohemian Brethren distribution. In addition to working in agriculture, the inhabitants lived on the manufacture of pearl buttons.

On August 29, 1887 before the official opening on November 3, rolled out the first train of Veseli nad Lužnicí to Jihlava through the town. In the second half of the 20th century, the incorporation took place after Popelín, since 1992 Bednáreček is again an independent municipality.
