Bela Pratapgarh (Hindi: बेला प्रतापगढ़ BELA Pratapgarh [be ː la ː prʌt̪a pɡʌɽ ʱ ] ), short- Bela, is a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is located in the southeastern region of Awadh ( Oudh ) around 60 kilometers north of Allahabad on the banks of the river Sai. At the time of the 2001 census, Bela Pratapgarh had 71 835 inhabitants. The city is the administrative center of the district of Pratapgarh.

Bela was founded in 1802 by the British as quarters for the stationed in the princely state of Oudh auxiliary troops near the town of Pratapgarh, which was a center of power in the region thanks to its originating from the 17th century fortress. It is named Bela after a temple of the goddess Bela Bhawani on the bank of Sai. After the Indian Rebellion of 1857, the British annexed Oudh and made Bela the administrative headquarters of the newly formed district Pratapgarh.

The name Bela Pratapgarh and are sometimes interchanged. This is the name of the station in Bela Pratapgarh Junction. At this station, the railway lines from Lucknow Raebareli cross over to Varanasi and Allahabad to Faizabad. The road link from Allahabad to Faizabad ( National Highway 96) via Bela.
