Bellingen Shire

Bellingen is located on the east coast of Australia about 520 km north of the city of Sydney and 430 km south of Brisbane. The area includes 71 districts and towns, including Bellingen, Bostobrick, Deer Vale, Dorrigo, North Dorrigo, Gleniffer, Kalang, Megan, Mylestom, Raleigh, and Thora Urunga. The seat of the Shire Council is located in the town of Bellingen in the east of the LGA where about 1,600 inhabitants.

Management

The Bellingen Shire Council has seven members, six Councillor and Chairman and Mayor ( mayor), who are elected by the residents of the LGA. Bellingen is not divided into districts.
