Belview is a small town ( with a status of "City" ) in Redwood County in the U.S. state of Minnesota. In 2010 Belview had 384 inhabitants.
Geography
Belview is located in southwestern Minnesota at 44 ° 36'19 " north latitude and 95 ° 19'46 " west longitude. The city covers an area of 2.46 km ².

History
After the land was previously inhabited by the Sioux, it was in 1851 by the Treaty of Traverse of the Sioux to the U.S. government. Only a strip of land at the Minnesota River remained the Indians and was to Reservation land.
In the 1860s, the land was surveyed and approved for resettlement. In 1884, the railroad and thus more settlers came to the region. 1887 established a post office by the U.S. government to penetrate the settlers of the area. Two years later the present town was planned and created in 1892 incorporated as the Village of Belview.

According to the census in 2010 lived in Belview 384 people in 169 households. The population density was 156.1 inhabitants per square kilometer. In the 169 households lived statistically 2.12 per person.
Ethnically, the population consisted of seven exceptions only from whites.
