Ben Silvey

Ben Silvey (birth name: Benjamin Silberman ) (* May 23, 1894 in New York; † February 7, 1948 in Hollywood, California ) was an American assistant director, who was nominated for the Academy Awards in 1934 for an Oscar for best assistant director.

Biography

Silvey began in 1929 with wedding rings as an assistant director in the film industry in Hollywood and worked in this capacity to the manufacture of more than ten other films such as The Song of the Flame ( 1930), The Rothschilds (1934 ), the struggle for India ( 1935) and Thanks a Million (1935 ) with.
