Benedikt Eppelsheim

Benedict Eppelsheim Instruments is a Munich- based manufacturer of woodwind instruments. The company was first founded by the instrument maker Benedikt Eppelsheim 1998 as a repair operation.

Specializing the company is on tieflagige instruments such as bass and contrabass saxophones. A self- development is the saxophone like Tubax ( in Eb and B, the latter has the range of a Subkontrabasssaxophons ). On the other side of the spectrum builds Benedict Eppelsheim as the world's only manufacturer to the smallest of all the saxophones, the Soprillo ( in B, one octave above the soprano saxophone). Other instruments are called contrabass clarinets and in collaboration with the instrument makers Guntram Wolf newly designed double bassoon, contra Forte. As individual pieces builds Benedict Eppelsheim also Sarrusofone.
