Benedikt Mayr

Benedikt Mayr (born 14 March 1989) is a German freestyle skis.

Benedikt Mayr starts for TSV Unterhaching. He started as a three year old with the alpine skiing, his parents - his father is Austrian - heard a hut in the Zillertal. First, he ran the moguls variant of the sport. After he tore his cruciate ligament at the age of 16, he moved to the recovery for slopestyle. Already in 2008 he was again elected as " Freeskier of the Year " of the entire German-speaking countries in 2010. At the 2011 World Championships in Park City, he was 41, and thus the third lowest scoring entries, in 2013 he was 25th in Myrkdalen the World Cup. In general, Mayr does not participate in the activities organized by the FIS competitions, yet he entered, in order to qualify for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, the 2013/14 season several times in World Cup. He played his first race in 2013 in Copper Mountain, where it was 14 It was also his best-ever placing in the race series.

Mayr qualified supposedly very early for the Olympic Games of Sochi. Specification of the international association was a place in the top 30 overall, the Mayr held throughout the year.
