Benjamin Biolay

Benjamin Biolay [ bɛʒamɛ bjɔlɛ ] ( born January 20, 1973 in Villefranche -sur -Saône ) is a French singer and actor. Along with several other artists such as Dominique Philippe Katerine A or he is one of the most famous representatives of the nouvelle chanson.

Life

Biolay has completed a classical education for tuba and violin at the Conservatory of Lyon. In the early 1990s he turned to pop music, with his first band " Mateo Gallion " was very successful. From 1996 he worked as a solo artist with a contract with EMI. Only in a duo with Keren Ann in 1999 he was known.
