Benjamin Hedges

Benjamin Hedges (Benjamin Van Doren "Ben" Hedges Jr., born June 8, 1907 in Plainfield, New Jersey, † December 31, 1969 in New York City ) was an American high jumper.

In 1927 and 1928, he finished fourth at the U.S. Championships. At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 his compatriot Bob King won with 1.94 before hedges and three other athletes who had skipped 1.91. In the jump- Hedges won the silver medal ahead of Frenchman Claude Ménard.

Hedges 1929 IC4A champion was. His personal best of 1,981 m he presented on February 6, 1932 in New York City in the hall.
