Benjamin Schöckel

Benjamin Schöckel ( born August 16, 1980 in Bad Neustadt an der Saale ) is a former German football player.

Career

Clubs

At the age of six years Schöckel began at the DJK Leutershausen playing football. In 1992 he moved to SV Sportfreunde Bad Neustadt he left towards Schweinfurt after three successful years. After only one season, he left the 1 FC Schweinfurt 05 and moved in 1996 to the youth department of FC Bayern Munich.

With the B -Juniors he won after his first season at Bayern with them the German Championship and also the leap into the DFB team succeeded. In the 2000 /01 season, he completed 23 Regional Games for the amateurs of FC Bayern Munich in the Regionalliga Süd. He made his debut on August 5, 2000 ( 2nd Round ) in the 1:4 defeat in the away match against VfB Stuttgart II Substitutes for Berkant Göktan in the 43rd minute.

From 2001 to 2003 he played for the regional league VfR Aalen before moving to second division side Energie Cottbus. In three seasons, he completed 45 second division games and a league game as a result of the rise for season 2006/07. The 2002 performed groin surgery caused in the aftermath pain and forced Schöckel for repeated pause, so were denied him in the top division multiple inserts, after his contract with Energie Cottbus was not extended beyond the 2006/07 season.

National
