Bernard Mendy

Bernard Mendy ( born August 20, 1981 in Évreux ) is a French football player. Since the summer of 2012, the defender is in the French first division side Stade Brest under contract.

Career

Association

The full-back started his professional career in 1998 in the Ligue 2 at SM Caen. After two years he moved to Paris in the summer of 2000 capital club PSG, where he met with the exception of the 2002/03 season where he was on loan to England on the Bolton Wanderers and 21 league games played, uninterrupted until 2008 was under contract. His greatest achievements there included winning the 2004 French runner-up and winning the cup in the same year. After another Cup success in 2006, the League Cup victory in 2008 was the last title win Mendys for the PSG.

July 11, 2008 Mendys change to the English Erstligaaufsteiger Hull City was announced, where he signed a three -year contract.

Since the summer of 2012, the defender plays at Stade Brest.

National

On 20 May 2004 Mendy got its first use in the French national team. Former opponents was the selection of Brazil. Before being appointed for the senior team, he played for the U -21 team of the French.
