Bernie Ecclestone

Bernard Charles " Bernie " Ecclestone (born 28 October 1930 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England) is a British automobile sports official, entrepreneur and CEO of Formula 1 SLEC Holding ( Formula One Group ). According to Forbes list of his assets estimated at around three billion euros.

Life

Bernie Ecclestone was born into a working class family on October 28, 1930 in Ipswich. He grew up in Bexleyheath he finished with 16 years of school and found at the local municipal utilities a job.

In his early years, Ecclestone went to 1958 itself rather less successful auto racing. He was reported to participate in two Formula 1 races in the season 1958: At the Monaco Grand Prix and the Grand Prix of Great Britain. However, it did not qualify for the race both times.

In addition, Ecclestone was the manager and owner of the Connaught team and later the Brabham team. In between, he changed its name for some time as manager of Jochen Rindt. Controversies

  • During the process of corruption against a former board member of the BayernLB the Attorney Bernie Ecclestone accused.
