Besskorbnaya

Besskorbnaja (Russian Бесскорбная ) is a Cossack village ( Cossack village ) with 5921 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010 ) in the Krasnodar region of Russia.

Besskorbnaja, the second largest of the Cossack village Nowokubanski rayon ( Новокубанский район ) to Sovetskaya, situated at an altitude of about 335 meters above sea level on the left bank of the Urup, a tributary of the Kuban. The Rajonverwaltungszentrum Nowokubansk is 55 km to the northwest, away beyond 40 km, not for Rajon belonging city of Armavir.

At the same rural community ( Selskoje posselenije ) next to the Cossack village heard the village Nowowoskressenski. The name of the Cossack village derives ( скорби без; into German without sadness ) of bes skorbi from, in relation to the name of the first, there 1866 built church in the Russian Orthodox Church especially respected Mother of God Icon All mourner joy ( was ordained Wsech Skorbjaschtschich Radost ).
